Let imaginations run wild at a Makers & Creators art and craft workshop...
At the workshops, participants will not only learn a variety of new skills and techniques but will have the opportunity to develop design ideas and get creative!
The group sessions are taught with a hands-on, practical approach and are perfect for schools, clubs or groups wanting to try something new. The workshops are tailored to suit any level of ability and can explore a theme of your choice, fitting in with your teaching subjects or any other ideas you had.
Workshops are taught either in a short 'Starter Session', a longer 'Main Course', or tailor made where you can 'Create Your Own'.

The ‘Starter Sessions’ are available in an array of exciting contemporary art subjects which are simple to follow, fun and especially ideal for beginners. At the end of the session participants will have produced a high quality art piece, and will also be being armed with the basic knowledge to continue their creative journey, either on their own or during a longer running ‘Main Course’ workshop.

A key aspect of creative learning is the building self confidence, communication and team-work. The ‘Main Course’ selection of workshops, run over a 6-10 week period, encourages these aspects of personal development in a supportive and creative environment, and combines the learning of practical skills with methods designed to unlock hidden creativity. Each session focuses on different aspects of the artistic process, including learning to design, the importance of composition, colour theory, key techniques and processes, and the creation of a final piece.

Not only is there the to opportunity to learn skills such as Screen Printing, Puppet Making, Carnival Costumes and Large Scale Mural Art, a Makers and Creators ‘Main Course’ workshop can also be designed to fit alongside a specific subject matter or idea.
